When you visit the Pfeiffer Library website, there is a "Login" icon located on the top right of the page. If you hover over the icon, there are five login options:
If you change your password for MyTU, Email (Gmail), Self-Service, or My Classes (Moodle), your password will change to the new password for all of those platforms. However, your library barcode number will NEVER change!

Information about each login option is included below.
Clicking on MyTU takes you to a log in screen that requires your login credentials. Your username is everything before the "@" symbol in your university email address and your password is one that you create on your own. MyTU is your own student portal that contains information such as your class schedule, messages, personal bookmarks, and tasks to be completed. It also has publicly available information such as campus events, announcements, and news. If you are logged into your MyTU account, the page will have "Tiffin University" in the top left corner of the screen.

This is where you can log into your Tiffin University email account. All Tiffin University email addresses are based in Google's Gmail platform, so you can also log into your email account through the Google home page or Gmail.com. If you are unsure what your Gmail username is, it typically follows the following formula:
Example: John A. Smith = email@example.com
In some cases, your Gmail username may vary if there is someone else on campus with the same name or initials as you. Your password is something you created. If you are a new student, a temporary password should have been given to you. If you need assistance with your Gmail account, you can contact ITS Services here.
Self-Service is where you can view personal student information, such as requirements for your chosen degree and transfer evaluations. You can also search for and register for courses and request transcripts. To view student information, the site will ask for a confirmation code to verify your identity. Other functions include resetting your password and retrieving your library barcode and username.

"My Classes" (Moodle) is an online portal for your courses that you use for submitting assignments and accessing course content. Your username is everything before the "@" symbol in your Tiffin University email address. Your password is the same one as your university email, unless you changed it manually in Moodle. Upon logging in, it will display a dashboard with your current courses, upcoming deadlines, messages, and most recent forum posts. If your courses allow it, you may also access the course material as a guest by clicking the "Log in as guest" icon at the bottom of the page.
"My Classes" Login Page
Your library account is used when you request or check out print materials from our library. It also allows you to browse our online catalog for materials as part of OPAL (Ohio Private Academic Libraries). You can browse for books without logging in using the database link above. If you use the "Library Account" sign in option on the library home page, you will need to sign in first. To sign into your library account, you will need your last name and library barcode. Your last name is the username and the library barcode followed by the letters "TUP" serves as the password. In other words, your password is your university ID number. If you do not know your university ID/library barcode, it is the 9-digit number located on the back of your student ID card. If you do not have a student ID, you can retrieve your barcode one of the following ways:
