Faculty Curriculum Support

Our mission is to connect the Tiffin University community to quality resources and services that address the information needs of research, learning, and professional practice.

Pfeiffer Library offers all of our typical services, such as interlibrary loan, book borrowing, and off-campus access to all university faculty and staff. All are welcome to attend library programming, schedule space in our facility, and access our robust collection of print and electronic resources.

On top of these services, the library also offers support for instructors in their instruction. You can learn more about all the library has to offer you as a faculty and/or staff member below:

On Campus

We love to visit your classrooms! Learn more on the Instructional Services page or reserve your time now.

Our study rooms are always an alternative to meeting in your office. Your students can also meet in them to work on projects. If you require group projects, feel free to include this link in your syllabi so that students know they need to reserve their space ahead of time: https://library.tiffin.edu/rooms

Need to reserve a space now? Use the Reserve a Study Room button:

Online

The library offers a large portfolio of instructional webinars. If you'd like to require attendance for a session for one of your classes, whether you are teaching on campus or online, please notify us at library@tiffin.edu and provide us with a copy of your class roster. We can send you confirmation of attendance in live sessions.

For students who cannot attend live, a recording is distributed via email one day after each session takes place.

Grant Writing Resources for Faculty

The library's support of our faculty stretches beyond the classroom environment. We provide a wealth of professional development resources and materials to assist our faculty with all of the extra responsibilities that come with being a faculty member. View the list below for some of those materials, and contact the library if your needs are not addressed through this guide (We have many hidden gems - too many to list them all here!).

Grant Writing Books:

Grant Resources for Educators

The following list represents only a small snapshot of the resources available on the web to support grant funding in various types of libraries. There are THOUSANDS of options for funding sources in libraries and for educators. The list below can help you locate grants that tie in with both curriculum and library support of that curriculum, so we can work together to bring the best possible experience to our students.

Foundation Directory Access

The library provides limited access to the Foundation Directory to full time faculty via our scheduling system. Our software license only permits one user at a time to use the database. If you'd like to schedule a time to browse the database, which provides information on funding sources but is not a directory of open grants, please email us at library@tiffin.edu to be sent the link to schedule your time.

Professional Development

We have the following available through the library if you'd like to stay abreast of the latest in teaching and learning:
