In most instances, the material found in Pfeiffer Library will have a location of TIFFIN MAIN, which will likely indicate it can be checked out based on patron type (found in Borrowing Privileges). The exceptions to this rule are found below, and do not include consortia borrowing (ie OhioLink; Search Ohio).
- Course Reserves
Items on course reserves will have a location of TIFFIN RESERVE. Items on course reserve can be checked out for 2 hours, and cannot leave the library.
- Audiovisuals
Audiovisual materials will have a location of TIFFIN VIDEO, which you may request from the circulation desk. Audiovisual materials can be checked out for 7 days.
- Reference
Reference materials will have a location of TIFFIN REFERENCE. Reference items cannot be checked out nor leave the library.
- Periodicals
Periodicals will have a location of TIFFIN PERIODICALS. Periodicals cannot be checked out nor leave the library.
- Archives
Items found in the archives cannot be checked out nor leave the library.
