Library Fines

Library fines occur when you fail to return or renew a book by its due date. You can always check the due date or renew your book online through your library account. Once an item is overdue, you will no longer be able to renew books nor check out/request more books.

Paying Your Fines

If you accumulate fines during the semester, there are a number of ways you can your fine:

  • Pay with Cash
    Visit the circulation desk.
  • Pay with Check
Checks should be made to Pfeiffer Library, and turned into the circulation desk. Student ID numbers are encouraged as a memo on the check.
  • Pay with Bursar
Ask a librarian to forward your fine to your student account.

At the end of each semester, library fines are automatically sent to your university student account. If you find a library fine on your student account that you are unsure about, please contact the circulation librarian for more information.

The library does not offer refunds on paid fines.
