The OhioLINK ETD is accessible from Pfeiffer Library's A-Z database list. It is located under "E" and labeled as "Electronic Theses & Dissertations Center." It also has OhioLINK under "alternative name(s) & keywords." If you are off campus, you may receive and "off-campus access" login screen that has the dragon logo. If this occurs, you will need to verify your student status by logging in with your student credentials. Your username is everything before the @ symbol in your Tiffin University email address, and your password is what you use for other TU platforms, such as Self-Service. Once you log in, you will be taken to the ETD home page.
On the ETD homepage, the search box is the central feature. Just begin typing in the box that says "Search by title, author, keywords, etc." If you are searching for specific dissertations, press the enter button or click on the magnifying glass after you type in your search terms. If you are looking for a dissertation from a particular school, click on the "Participating Institutions" icon to browse theses by institution. The most recent additions to the online collection are also listed below the search bar.
You can perform a deeper search using Boolean logic or your natural language by clicking on the "Advanced Search" icon below the search bar. The search will look for your terms in the metadata of the item and the full-text of the item when available.
ETD Homepage & Search Bar
Upon clicking the "Participating Institutions" icon below the search bar, you will see a list of schools that have added their students' theses and dissertations to the collection. Institutions are listed alphabetically. If you are interested in viewing all theses from a particular institution, click on the school's name. The proceeding page will display the following:
Upon visiting an institution's page, you may also browse the school's ETD collection by author or department. You can also browse all ETDs and use the database's filters to narrow down your search.
