Accessing Grammarly

In order to access Grammarly, you must use your Tiffin University email address. To create an account, follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://www.grammarly.com/edu/students
  2. Look for the "Sign up," "Log In," or "Create an Account" option. (Sometimes this option is in the upper right of the window.)
  3. Complete the account creation process using your Tiffin University email address. Use of this email address is the only way you can sign up for an account without being asked to pay for it.

Basic Navigation

Once signed into Grammarly, you have numerous options available to upload your work and customize the Grammarly experience. 

On the left side of the page, there are a series of menu options. These options include:

  • MyGrammarly - Grammarly dashboard which holds papers you've already uploaded to the system. 
  • Account - Adjust your dictionary settings, language preferences, or account settings like email contact and password. 
  • Apps - Grammarly add-ons for your browser or Microsoft Word.
  • Premium - Compares prices for upgrading your Grammarly account.
  • Support - Help pages and support contact info.
  • Log Out - Logs you out of your Grammarly account.

The top of the Grammarly landing page includes a search bar, which allows you to search for key words in every document you’ve uploaded to Grammarly.

Below the search bar, you’ll see options to upload a new paper, and to access other papers you’ve previously uploaded into Grammarly.
