What's New at Pfeiffer Library?

OhioLINK Lending to Resume August 10th!

One of the many side-effects of the pandemic closures is the impact on the lending of print books through OhioLINK. Though our campus collection is large, many students rely on OhioLINK lending for their course materials. In March, OhioLINK suspended all resource lending because so many libraries closed, and very few of us had the same timeline for reopening. Our campus library opened with limited hours on July 6, but items needed that are not on our shelves in Tiffin, Ohio, have been difficult to locate for our students and faculty. This is not a situation unique to the Tiffin University library. Libraries all over the country (and the world!) have experienced the exact same issues, and we are so thankful that those we serve have been patient with us as these systems, which have been in place for so many years, were shut down rapidly and completely outside of our control.

But... there may be light at the end of this tunnel for us!

We are pleased to announce that, as of today, OhioLINK lending will resume on August 10th! Please keep an eye out for updates from the library about our new procedures for social distancing, changes to lending practices, and more in the coming weeks!
