Graduation is here and to commemorate the weekend, this blog will reflect back on the 2005 graduate commencement and recognize not only the undergraduate but also the master's graduates of 2005. Dr. Stephen Werling spoke to the master's students as their commencement speaker. Dr. Werling got his undergraduate degree from Tiffin University after serving in the United States Air Force and worked as the Tiffin University Veterans Coordinator for a large part of the 1970s. He received his doctorate in Human Resource Management from the University of Kentucky and his MBA from the University of Dayton. In his speech, he discussed the importance of expanding on impossibilities because there are no limitations on success. He also told graduates that “there are no walls around Tiffin or Ohio, to stop you from doing anything”. He gave an inspirational speech on breaking limitations and giving back to the community that raised them.
