Flashback Friday: The Tystenac (Thanksgiving Edition)

As we approach the holiday season, many of us remember and uphold holiday traditions.  Tiffin University has its own traditions, which are featured in this week's #FlashbackFriday!

The Tystenac is Tiffin University's campus newspaper that reports university-wide news throughout the academic year.  In November of 1975 (photos below), the campus published a Thanksgiving edition of The Tystenac, which featured articles related to Thanksgiving and the holidays.  It included cooking recipes, holiday calendars, and information about upcoming campus events.  On top of events, this edition of The Tystenac covered campus news stories, such as enrollment statistics and sports team updates.  With all this information included in one publication, students did not want to miss out on this issue!

While this issue was printed over forty years ago, the The Tystenac still exists today.  To learn more about The Tystenac, visit the TiffinArts website here.
