As fall sports continue at Tiffin University, you have probably seen several social media posts, newspaper articles, and other marketing items related to TU athletics. Tiffin University takes pride in their sports teams, and they make sure that the community knows it!
Every academic year, the campus creates flyers and programs for the upcoming season. This program from 1994 (photos below) is an example of one of these programs. While most sports programs contain basic information like a team roster and game schedule, this program is unique because it is also a "media guide." This means that the program includes a list of media outlets that cover university sporting events. This is valuable information for spectators in the event that they cannot attend a live game. It allows them to participate through other means and makes sporting events more inclusive.
This program shows how much the campus cared about athletics in the 1990s, and that has certainly not changed today! We hope that you will continue to support our Dragons as they conclude their current season.
