In the spirit of commencement, it would only be fitting to showcase a piece of Tiffin University's commencement history. The 1987-1988 academic year marked the university's one-hundredth commencement ceremony, so it was a very special occasion. Audience members received this program (see photos below) which outlined the events for the formal ceremony. Events included a commencement address by a guest speaker, presentation of honorary degrees, presentation of candidates for degrees, and the conferring of degrees. While commencement is always a joyous occasion, this one was extra special because it commemorated the university's one-hundredth year. The next big milestone will be in 2038, when the university will celebrate its 150th commencement. Regardless, we still take pride in making every commencement a memorable one!
