Additional funding requests, typically held during the campus giving events, support the supplies required to properly store and preserve artifacts.
Mission of the Archive
The purpose and mission of the archive is to collect, preserve, and make accessible the historical and cultural records created by or received in connection with the University or University business.
Scope of the Archive
The University Archive includes thousands of artifacts in various mediums that span the lifetime of the university. Items under the protection of privacy law, such as student transcripts, are not kept in the archive.
At this time, there is no electronic discovery service for the archive. All materials are located on campus in Tiffin, Ohio and cannot circulate outside of the building. Limited photocopying may be available for a nominal fee.
