  Troy Albright, Academic Coach

Troy Albright serves as the Academic Coach for Tiffin University Football. He is a 1992 graduate of Heidelberg University where he participated in athletics, Greek life, and student government. Upon graduation, he entered the business arena where he eventually built several small businesses. In 1998, Troy returned to his high school alma mater to share his passion for the sport of football and begin what is now a 24-year coaching career that has spanned all levels. From Jr. High School to Div. 3 NCAA, Coach Albright has mentored hundreds of young men with the mission of defining success for each student/athlete on an individual basis. In 2018, he earned a MEd in Higher Education Administration from Tiffin University and started an on-campus career as a “Success Coach.” Aside from over-seeing the operation of three small business entities, he is also the Associate Head Football Coach at Fremont Ross High School. Coach Albright is happily married to his wife, Wendy and has six children and two grandchildren.

   

Brook S. Edwards-Director of University Academic Support

Brook S. Edwards serves as the Director of University Academic Support overseeing the development, implementation and coordination of tutoring, peer assistance programming, academic recovery, and general academic skills outreach programming. Prior to joining Tiffin University, Edwards began his career as a student tutor, campus coordinator before serving as Tutoring Coordinator at Southern State Community College and Student Resource Center Manger at Wilmington College. 

During his tenure in higher education Edwards has served as a board member and officer for the Association for the Coaching and Tutoring Profession, at-large Board Member and Secretary for the Ohio Association of Development Education, as a member of the Professional Development Committee for the Ohio College Learning Center Association. He has also served as a review, editor or contributor to The Facilitating Tutor, OADE News, and The Learning Assistance Review. He also holds a Master Tutor Trainer Certification from the Association for the Coaching and Tutoring Profession.

Edwards earned his M.A. in English from National University in La Jolla, CA, a Bachelor's of Arts in History from Wilmington College of Wilmington, Ohio, and Associates of Arts and Sciences from Southern State Community College in Hillsboro, OH. In addition to his coursework Edwards has served as an instructor in History, English, and Developmental Mathematics.

A native of Washington Court House, Ohio, Edwards resides in Tiffin with his wife Luann and three sons.
