Creating a New Project

To create a new project:

  1. Click the "New Project" button.
  2. Input the information for the project in the Create a new project box.
  3. Use the radial buttons to select your citation style- MLA, APA, or Chicago/Turabian.
  4. Use the radial buttons to select citation level.

Citation levels explained:

  • Starter- The most basic level. Provides lots of hints to guide you through the software.
  • Junior- Less guidance than Starter level, but still gives the occasional hint.
  • Advanced- No hints, very detailed forms​

Editing Project Settings

To edit a project’s settings once you’ve built it, return to the Projects folder and use the dropdown Options menu, as shown in the following image:

Using the Project Inbox (for instructors)

Instructor steps:

To create an inbox for separate projects:

  1. Select the Inboxes tab within the project dashboard.
  2. Select the option for New project inbox.
  3. Fill in the information in the New Project Inbox window.

Student steps:

To share a project with a project inbox:

  1. Go to your project dashboard in your own account.
  2. Scroll to the Sharing and Collaboration section.
  3. Click the button to "Share with a project inbox."
  4. Input the inbox password.
