What's New at Pfeiffer Library?

Academic Integrity Development

After midterm grading, student writing issues may come to light. Academic Integrity Development, better known as AID, is an instructional support program developed by Pfeiffer Library. It is designed to transform a violation of the academic honesty policy into learning opportunity that is fully documented. Once enrolled, students will have access to a Moodle course that will discuss a variety of topics, including:

  • Tiffin University's Academic Honesty Policy
  • APA Style (6th edition) OR MLA Style (8th edition)
  • Citation/Writing tools

Once completed, professors who recommend their students should give them a second chance to apply their new knowledge to their previous assignment. It will give your student an opportunity and incentive to learn what, when and how to use citations in academia (and in life). More information about our AID program can be found at https://library.tiffin.edu/aid.

If you have students that need help on APA style but have not plagiarized, the library also offers options such as our APA Style CENTRAL Moodle integration or our research consultations. If these seem of interest, contact the library at library@tiffin.edu to learn more.
