Tech Tip: Connecting Database Materials to Moodle

by Brigitte Galauner on 2021-02-09T10:10:00-05:00 in Tech Tips | Comments

As Tiffin University faculty, did you know that you can connect content from library databases to your Moodle courses? If you view our Using Persistent Links library guide, it provides a tutorial on how to find permalinks in databases.  You can use these permalinks to embed database materials into Moodle courses.  When you browse library databases, the link you use to access the item is often temporary.  This can be frustrating when the link no longer works.  Permalinks solves this issue because they remain unchanged for the foreseeable future.

If you have any questions about connecting database materials to Moodle, you can also email the library at  We hope that this helps the process of implementing materials to your courses!
