What's New at Pfeiffer Library?

Schedule Library Instruction Today

Want your intro student to learn about library resources? Have a research assignment this semester? Need to improve source selection or citation in your students? Schedule your librarian to visit!

Library instruction sessions can take many forms and the librarian can tailor any session to meet your needs. Some common topics include search strategies, DragonQuest, Nexis Uni, citation & writing tools, or source evaluation. When contacting your librarian, let her know when you are interested, what you want your students to learn, and how you will know they learned. From there, she can send you a unique lesson plan to engage your students. Don't delay though - Calendars will fill up quick!

If you wish you had time for such activities but are not sure how to fit it in, do not worry! We offer many other opportunities that can be used for credit, extra credit, or co-curricular credit. A few options include attending a webinar (or watching its recording), scheduling a research consultation, or building a research guide for asynchronous learning.
